Posts about Deltarune and Alternate Universes of both games are also welcomed! Important links Welcome to r/Undertale, Reddit’s largest UT community, a place for fans to share fanworks, memes (occasionally not skeleton related), hold discussions and argue about the same three theories ad nauseum. More UNDERTALE?! Not exactly, but if the game left you craving for more, check out Toby’s next project, Deltarune! As of right now, the first two chapters are out and you can try them out for free! The Underground awaits Will you show monsters standing in your way MERCY, or slaughter them all? Their only weapon being their DETERMINATION as they try to FIGHT or ACT their way out. Unlike its predecessor UNDERTALE, which is themed on the notion of free will and choice, Deltarune: Chapter 1 emphasizes the concept of predestination while the player is given various choices throughout their journey, including the option of either sparing or killing all enemy monsters that they encounter similar to UNDERTALE, their choices are eventually rendered moot as all choices ultimately have similar or identical outcomes.UNDERTALE is an indie RPG created by developer Toby Fox about a child, who falls into an underworld filled with monsters. The plot of Deltarune: Chapter 1 focuses on a human teenager named Kris and a monster teenager named Susie, who fall into a parallel dimension known as the "Dark World" inhabited by monsters known as Darkners it is here that they meet with Ralsei, a kind-hearted Prince from the Darkness, who explains how the Light World and Dark World have fallen into an imbalance and of The Prophecy of the three heroes who will restore the balance between the two worlds. The game's ending, as well as which of the game's three routes the player takes, is directly determined by the player's actions as Frisk the Pacifist and Neutral routes emphasize the morality of killing and encourage the player to spare all enemy monsters that they encounter, while the game's Genocide route encourages the player to instead kill every inhabitant of The Underground. Ebott to enter a world filled with monsters known only as "The Underground" the monsters of the underground, led by their king Asgore, are seeking to collect the souls of fallen humans in order to break the barrier that keeps them imprisoned in The Underground and return to the surface. The plot of UNDERTALE focuses around a human child named Frisk, who has fallen down a chasm in Mt. Both games consist of many of the same characters and elements, but are implied to take place in separate, parallel universes.

UNDERTALE and Deltarune: Chapter 1 are both indie RPG games released for the PC in 20, respectively, by Toby "Radiation" Fox, who was previously known in the EarthBound ROM hacking community due to his previous works, the core gameplay of both UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE take a large inspiration from EarthBound, as well as taking inspiration from bullet hell shooters such as Touhou Project.
